I really enjoy play this game on my computer and would love to bring it with me.
Program: Warzone 2100
License: GNU General Public License
Description: "Warzone 2100 is a real-time strategy game, developed by Pumpkin Studios and published by Eidos-Interactive™. Although comparable to Earth2150™ in many significant aspects, it does contain some that are unique. These include various radar technologies, a greater focus on artillery and counter-battery technologies, as well as a different vehicle design method. It was released in 1999 for PC and Playstation®. " (from the website)
Website: http://www.wz2100.net/
Other: The game is similar to Command And Conquer. It is continuously updated and is backed by several companies. There are very few registry entries (less than 10) to worry about.
Looks like a great game. Maybe somebody with more time than myself would be willing to take it on.
Edit: For whoever takes this project on, here's a new icon for it, whipped up in about 20 minutes

I not waiting i doing regshot now but i won't be able to finish this until next week if i an working on it alone because i have presentations to prepare for and ah just got ah Job this morning so i don't have the time as i use to. and well i suck at this
i only ever did like 1 simple portableapps. so when if i do it all by my self it will have allot of problems.lol
EDIT: beleave it or not this looks easy and also the installer was made with NSIS so i could use their script and just change it a little.
Never curse the alligator till you done cross the bridge.
i just ran a regshot too and it looks like everything is contained in the application's directory. As for using their installer and modifying it, that may not be the best idea. Try to keep it within the specifications of PortableApps.com instead of doing the minimum amount of work ;). This makes for uniformity in all apps on this site, and makes it more likely for your work to receive good reviews and possibly become official.

Yea i kept it in the specifications of PortableApps.com But like i said i don't know NSIS but i have most of the code down just handle the registry entries and fix the Help page. I fear there is more to do than i see. Could u help me out with the registry entries there are 2 to move.
Never curse the alligator till you done cross the bridge.
What registry entries does it make? I didn't see any when I did the RegShot. I don't know much about NSIS either, I tried making a few apps portable, but that was almost a year ago. I haven't looked much at NSIS since then.

The screenshots look pretty good. This would make a nice addition to Portable Apps.
Change the name of the post to something more descriptive to gather more hype. My last app never got a post because it slipped through the cracks or maybe just sucked lol. It makes no sense making it if no one wants it. Besides my week is locked up and i am trying to make room for it. It will be nice to see this added to the suite.

Never curse the alligator till you done cross the bridge.
is that any better?
if not, do you have any ideas?
Thanks
