I have a problem with the noscript extension where some scripts that are blocked can cause firefox to freeze and I have to shutdown. This apparently doesn't happen when using the regular firefox version. Anyone know what might be the problem? What type of information might help solve this problem? Thanks for any info.
I use the NoScript extension/Add-On extensively on FFP and have done so for over a year and have had no problems with sites freezing with when scripts are blocked. Mind you I use it on my harddrive which gives much better performance than a flashdrive.
Could you give an example of a site.
Please make sure it is a trustworthy site before posting a link [then again if it was a trustworthy site why would you be blocking scripts?]

Things have got to get better, they can't get worse, or can they?
Lol. It's a trustworthy site. I posted in noscript forum but I than thought maybe I'll uninstall and reinstall in the last hour and it fixed it. There must be a corruption either from me updating using firefox. Me moving the new version of portableapps firefox over my existing folder or a noscripts update from extension manager. I have no idea but an uninstall reinstall fixed it. It was only occuring while blocking scripts from one site which unblocked didn't have the problem so it was weird.
Thanks for a reply. Appreciate the work you do and never had a chance to say it so I'll say it now.
