I find it very had to believe that MapSource is freeware. It may be free, but that is not the same as freeware, especially when it comes to redistribution.
It does not matter though. We cannot currently make any software portable that is not open source.

having no charge is the same as freeware. freeware just means there is no cost for it, it doesnt necessarily mean it is completely free (no restrictions).
