Hide menu Icons

I have a app on my drive that shows 3 icons on the menu, is there a way, maybe in a future release do be able to hide icons in the menu?

Not yet

but you should be able to do that with the next version of the Menu/Platform...

I'm really looking forward to that...

I started out with FFP 2.0.0.8 and have let it FF update me to 2.0.0.10.
This means I now have FF listed three times with three different FF icons. It would be really nice to remove the clutter.

Any time line for the update?

but why would that ...

do that that? I've also let it autoupdate, and it just installed itself over itself, so there is only one instance of FFP. Did you choose a different name for each update installation so that it installed 3 different versions of FFP?

Don't be an uberPr∅. They are stinky.

Yes

In the FFP folder, after letting FF update, I have 4 EXEs:
1) firefox.exe
2) FirefoxPortable.exe
3) updater.exe
4) xpicleanup.exe

1, 3, and 4 are listed in the menu as "firefox" with their appropriate icon.
FFP is listed farther down as "Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition".

That's Weird

Firefox Should update the FirefoxPortable\App\firefox directory.

And you portable apps setup should look as follows

X:\PortableApps\PortableAppsMenu
X:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable
FirefoxPortable.exe
X:\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox
updater.exe
firefox.exe
xpicleanup.exe

Sounds like you had some really weird update, or you're using the wrong setup.

I fixed it...

It appears I had a strange update when FF updated itself from 2.0.0.8 to .9. Continued into .10 and .11.

I found it by installing FFP on a MMC card I have. That install showed me the two files and three folders that should be in the root from a typical install. I used "Beyond Compare" (that should be a PA) to check my folders from one to the other and found that all the files just needed to be ported down to \\Firefox Portable\App\firefox and it's subs.

Restarted FFP and I was back to 2.0.0.9 again, ran an update to get back to .11, and all is well. It turns out this was a quirk in a FF update and not a menu issue.

Thank you for all for all your comments.
