I would just like to suggest an app that would password protect the entire flash drive, making it unable to view without entering in the password. I had a U3 drive that was like this. To tell you the truth it was the only nice feature of U3. Portable apps launcher is so much nicer, but it would be better if it could password protect the entire drive. Thanks.
you could use truecrypt to encrypt the entire drive or just part of it.

but you need admin privlages to run it. that deffets the purpose of bringing it to the library.

So far no one has found a full-drive or virtual-drive encryption that doesn't require Admin, except for the "secure" drives that have encryption built-in. Truecrypt requires Admin the first time it is run, then after that it can run with user privileges, but that first time is the kicker.
U3 password protection is apparently not full-drive encryption, but it appears to give "low to medium" protection. On some U3 drives it is very easy to bypass the password security. On most others (more recent ones) it would require some relatively sophisticated tools, but is still possible. It may be "good enough" to protect a drive from honest people.

TrueCrypt requires admin rights any time the user wishes to decrypt or encrypt something. It has to install the truecrypt driver, which can not be done on limited accounts.
