I'm fully aware of that OpenOffice.org is not supported on Windows NT (just like it's not supported on Windows 95). Still, since I read about the existence of a patch for Windows 95 on the OpenOffice.org Portable Support page, I'd like to ask whether someone is aware of a similar patch for Windows NT. If so, I would really appreciate know about that.
OpenOffice.org stopped working for me on Windows NT w/ the release of 2.2.1. I've tried installing 2.2.1 and 2.3.0 but always failed. So I'm stuck with 2.1.0 on NT, which works fine. On my portable flash drive I have 2.3.1 installed, as of today - BTW, Thanks John! It would be really nice if could use one OpenOffice.org Portable version with any of my platforms Windows NT, 2000 and XP - just like many other of the portable applications on my USB flash drive.

The Win95 patch was a quick hack done by a third party that should work on WinNT as well in theory. But it was only for the 2.0.3 release, nothing later... it's no longer being updated. No effort is being put into supporting Windows NT at all. I don't even have it setup as a test bed for the PortableApps.com Platform.
I recommend against running Windows NT for most folks since most software that supports older Windows OSes is more likely to support Windows 98 than Windows NT. At the very least, they usually support Windows 2000 (which would probably be a better option for you).
If you want OpenOffice.org to run on Windows NT (or Windows 95), you'd have to ask the OpenOffice.org developers. I think they've already stated that they won't be supporting either platform going forward, though.

Windows NT is not currently listed on the application compatibility page. I was quite sure that only corporations used NT and they've all since upgraded to at least 2000 (because corporate users can't keep using unsupported software). Windows 98, on the other hand, has stuck around because lots of home users are using it. As for Windows 95, I'll probably be dropping support for it in the near future as most software has dropped support for it. It will still work, but we won't test for it.
