Virus in Autorun.inf file?

I was re-installing my entire USB drive with newer version of all the Apps software.
I installed the PortableApps.com_Platform_Setup_1.1_Beta_4.exe
file and keep getting the Autorun.inf file as having the INF/Rustank.A worm.

I am using ETrust AV 7.1.501

Is there a virus in the installer? Or might this be a False positive?

false positive

the inf is just a text file...
did you check the md5?
Thats a good way to make sure you have the file you want without a virus.

Thanks for the reply

Thanks for the reply Simeon.
Can you explain the checking of the md5 process?
I would be eternally grateful...

yes

on the download page of every app there is a md5 hash thats a line of numbers and letters. Firefox's looks like this:9bd8e9bb14adc4d8cc233e63e9bae4d5
Now you can download and extract md5sum portable, select the file you want to test and it will give you the file's md5 sum. now you copy&paste the file sum from the app page into the right filed of md5sum portable and it will tell you if thay match. If they dont its better to redownload...:)
