recommend a desktop callender?

I am currently looking for some desktop calendar which seams well into the desktop (you may call it "widget", looks like http://markpasc.org/lj/200507/ywidg_calendar.png). Similar to stickies (very good portable notes software).

Important features for me:
- I don`t care at all if it`s stealth, but it must be portable in sense it stores all private data in program folder.
- Store data after being typed automatically (in case of shut down or windows crash not data shall be unsaved).
- well integrating into desktop, or maybe just a tray icon, but a notifier (tooltip maybe where you must click ok or so) is important (for current appointed times or missed appointed times)

Widget

What you're linking to is just a widget. A display of a calendar for the current month. No data to be saved (no appointments or anything like that).

If you're looking for a calendar, that would be something like Sunbird.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

Extensions?

What kinda tray? There's an extension to put Sunbird in the tray, and prolly one for notification as well.

Rainlendar?

Are you looking for Rainlendar or something similar to it?

Rainlendar is very nice.

Rainlendar is very nice. First time I looked at it I closed the site because the default skin looked very ugly but now I found skins. Nice app, thanks. Smile
