Since we are beta testing FFP3-2 maybe we could start testing XPSP3P.
As a portable app it could update a XPS2 machine to XPSP3 while in use and on shut down restore it to XPSP2 leaving no traces behind

wtf? this is something that is impossible to do! People who think that is it and are forum regulars should be banned for thinking such things. Alternatively just carry sp3 installer around and then upgrade pcs as needed (that you control have admin rights to etc... etc... if really needed!)

However, the idea is not dumb. But updates are always globally installed and it would not be a good idea to mess with in/de-installation in order not to mess up the guest computer.
