PLEASE HELP!!! I just installed Suite on my 320GB portdrive and now i cant open drive...

Please Help... I had just installed Suite on my 320gb harddrive and now all the previous information is not reachable. everytime i open the drive it opens up the portable application suite showing music, documents, videos, but nothing is in there...what should i do i had a lot of important info and i need help retreving those files...

Still There

It's all still there. It just has an auto-run on it that opens the menu by default. You can access your drive in Windows Explorer by clicking on it in the left-hand tree of drives or you can right-click on the drive in the My Computer window and select open rather than Start PortableApps.com. Same when you plug the drive in and Windows gives you a list of options.

your files are one the same place as befor install PA suite (open your HD and take a look), PA has only set new folders like videos pic...., look at X:/Documents/Videos ...
u must now past your vids, music, doc and co. to this seperate folders (X:/Documents/...) .
and when you are done, you can see your files via PartobleApps Menu. Wink

Thanks that was a lot of help i was scared there for a while...i guess you can tell im new to portable apps i think im going to like it now i know it didnt erase all my files....thanks again
