I believe that Portable GIMP leaves a .gtk-bookmarks file in the Documents and Settings\User folder.

Sorry to bring back an old topic, i was just browsing the net for an answer and it seems i've found it.
In %UserProfile% folder i have:
One folder named ".thumbnails" wich contains thumbnails of some of my resized images.
.fonts.cache-1
.gtk-bookmarks
These are left overs from portable GIMP. If someone could do something about it, it would be great.

It's being fixed in 2.2.13 (already posted at the above link as a pre-release). I'm in the process of posting the final (same as PR3) now.
