Hidden in windows explorer are those little desktop.ini files. You edit them to make the folders look nice, and they don't work if you edit them at all. Does anyone have any idea how to make it so and so that it uses relative paths?

..\ Look at the one in the PortableApps Documents folders.
Sometimes is takes a computer reboot to see the new icon too.
I did. I knew that. Maybe it's a Vista Thing.
Insert original signature here with Greasemonkey Script.
Also make sure to get the file attributes correct. The Desktop.ini file needs to be HIDDEN and SYSTEM. The folder which it is in sometimes needs to be READ ONLY. Change the folder attribute if your custom icon isn't working.
that enables you to have pics as backrounds? or as a custom display that replaces the folder icon? well if it is, all i realy know is that you can usualy edit it by opening the folder, opening the "Tools" menu and clicking folder options.
