It checks either only English or Only German (depends on what lang Pidgin in). Some buddys are English and some German...

Wouldn't that be a limitation of the Pidgin program, not something introduced by Pidgin Portable?
If so, the question needs to be asked of the Pidgin or spell check developers, rather than the Pidgin Portable developers.
