Why can I not and/or how can I enable FFP to remember the fact that I want to accept cookies? Currently using this install on one computer with the only user being me so I'm not in any need at this juncture of protecting private data or erasing my tracks or anything, I'd just like to have Firefox be able to accept cookies whenever I start it without pressing [Alt]+[O],[Tab],[Tab],[Tab],[Tab],[Tab],[Space],[Enter] every time.
Also, why does it also not remember that I want to keep my history for awhile and have access to closed tabs? I'm using Tab Mix Plus session manager but have tried using Firefox's built-in session restore feature along with changing 'browser.sessionstore.enabled' to 'true' but still cannot remember closed tabs. The icon for access to such a list (Display Closed Tabs List) always only shows "Clear Closed Tabs List" and "Restore All Tabs" but never shows any tabs that have been closed.
I've tried addressing both of these issues through 'about:config' as well as '/Data/profile/prefs.js' (even removing it) and '/App/firefox/greprefs/all.js', but obviously I'm just not seeing something.
I started with FFP 2.0.0.6 and updated through 2.0.0.11 and, though the cookies thing never worked properly, everything else seemed to be working okay (with the possible exception of the extension installation directory). Then I tried removing that installation and installing the newly downloaded 2.0.0.11 version. That worked okay for a minute or two but still no cookies or closed tabs. Then suddenly the status bar got huge so, after trying a few toggles in the view menu to no avail, I restarted and all toolbars were missing. That's another issue, I guess, but I'm writing this with the 'old' version (FF.paf.exe 2.0.0.11 via update from 2.0.0.6)
Hopefully I've been clear enough and haven't missed this issue already addressed somewhere else in the forum although I did search on numerous occasions. Maybe somebody can offer advice/suggestions/guidance/help?
Thanks,
-Dan
Cookies are Tools » Options » Privacy, set to keep until they expire. Also, TMP = Bad. Built in sessions = Good (portability wise). Make sure History is enabled (same page as above, first checkbox).

"Tools » Options » Privacy, set to keep until they expire" = first thing I did; in fact it's the first thing I do every time I open Firefox because it doesn't keep that setting. That's what I meant by the term 'remember' in my first post.
i.e. Open Firefox, display Tools » Options » Privacy, 'Accept cookies from sites' box is empty so I place a check in it, restart Firefox, Tools » Options » Privacy, 'Accept cookies from sites' box is empty again. If I want to accept cookies I need to change this setting whenever I start the browser. Same thing with 'Remember visited pages for the last [ ] days.'
Why is TMP = Bad? Please explain this.
Thank you for your attention and effort.
