How do I revert drive name to 'local disk'?

I was using the portable apps menu, and i now find that when using Windows Explorer that C: has been renamed 'portableapps'. I need to revert the name back to C:LocalDisk which is what it originally was. Right clicking and renaming does not work.
It also has the portableapps icon - which I also need to remove
This is machine at work - so please help!
Thanks

Edit autorun.inf

You can edit (or delete to reset to the defaults) the file autorun.inf. It's a hidden INI-style file in the root of the drive. You can even customize the icon if you want.

Oh, and I noticed this is your first post... so welcome to PortableApps.com Smile

Restart

And don't forget to restart

Not sure if there Already is

But this question may be a nice little bit to at the the PortableApps.com Menu Support pages. It'll stop at least a few posts.

Not Really

The 1.1 menu has a renamer built in (next release candidate). And it's already mentioned in the how to uninstall support topic. Of course, people still ask how to uninstall.

True

Enough. Curious, are you even planning on some type of uninstaller as unnecessary as it is, or just keeping to the 'Delete the Files' FAQ.
