takes soooo long to disappear from "process" in "task monitor"? I have to wait a lot to extract my PDrive because it takes a lot to close...
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
Probably BonkEnc itself rather than the portable version (but as I hadn't heard of BonkEnc until yesterday ...)
Doing a rip from CD:
In the UI it shows the right info from CDDB (Song, Artist, etc...) but in the list that displays all the songs on the CD it has the wrong field for song title (the CD I looked at: Various Artists). The files name was also Various Artists).
I don't think it is CDDB, as iTunes got the correct fields.
For the mp3 codec I noticed that in the download section of the BonkEnc website there's 2 optional encoders, a BladeEnc MP3 encoder and a NTT TwinVQ VQF encoder. Have you checked that out?
BonkEnc 1.0.6 is out, the author says it fixes a bunch of bugs...maybe it won't crash after completing a CD that has more than 12 songs on it now. This really is an awesome app though. Looking forward to your update.
default install folder is \MagicMailMonitor
Quick simple rip - worked as described.
That's a dumb oversight, thanks, test release 2 should be up in a few minutes.

Launch it directly from the 'App' directory and see if you have the same problem.

Try the latest version I just posted. I think the author fixed this issue.
installer is complaining about the crc check... tried downloading it a couple times with the same problem.
Just a corrupted upload. Try it again if four minutes and let me know how it goes.
Edit: I updated the download, it should be fine now, give it a shot.
By the way I know you're looking for wma and mp3 converting, I'm looking into codecs for this.

Those are the ones I was checking out. And some others.
BonkEnc works great, its fast, looks good, and provides tons of options.
Good choice!!
