Portable GIMP 2.2.11 Beta has been released in both English-only and multilingual packages. Portable GIMP is the popular the GIMP for Windows image editor packaged as a portable app, so you can take your images with you and do your editing on the go. In this version:
- the GIMP updated to 2.2.11
- launcher fixed to handle alternate directories and INI settings
- switched to self-extractor packaging (25% smaller download)
In addition, an option to speed startup and an experimental fix for the intl.dll issue are available for testing.
Get it from the Portable GIMP homepage at PortableApps.com.

Link problem?
I just tried to download this from the Portable Gimp homepage.
The button on the left (English) has the following link.
http://prdownloads.sourceforge.net/portablegimp/Portable_GIMP_2.2.11_Bet...
It gives you some sort of error message. I was able to follow information on that page to get to the download area though. I will let you know how it works.
Fixed
Fixed it. Typo in the link. Thanks for letting me know.
Error on load.
I told you I would let you know how the beta works.
I downloaded and installed to my Geeksquad USB Portable GIMP 2.2.11b.
I get the following errors when it loads.

Anything to be concerned about?
Seems to work fine. I have not obviously used all of the features yet, but this is a beta and I thought you would appreciate the feedback.
