I just want to point out that Firefox portable doesn't seem to start once I install the extension Foxmark. Many thanks.

version of portable firefox are you running?
I use 2.0.0.11 and foxmarks works fine with it. Been using them together for about 8 and no problems.
Haven't tried the Firefox 3 betas yet, so not sure if it works with it or not.
I am using 2.0.0.11 as well, but once I installed Foxmarks, it just doesn't start. I had to uninstall Firefox and reinstall again. Maybe I give it another try to see if it works.
After a while in internet, if I restart Firefox, it closes sudenly. This behaviour started after I activated an account with Foxmarks. At the beguining I thought that I have a small cache. I raised from 0 to 32 MB. I still have the same problem.
I use Firefox version 2.0.0.11 I have reinstalled several times with no result. Previously, I ran the program firefox.exe inside the directory D:\MiChip\PortableApps\FirefoxPortable\App\firefox and solved the first time. But now, It does not work.
Thanks for your attention.
I use 2.0.0.11 on WinXP Pro SP2, and have for quite some time with no problems at all. What version of Foxmarks are you using... have you updated? They just recently released 2.0.43.
Cheers!

I was having the same problems. I fixed it by updating to the latest version of foxmarks. I was still getting an "Unauthorized" message, so I reset my password - I didn't change it, just went into the settings, entered it again and then hit sync. It works fine now.
I have been using Foxmarks for quite awhile now with my Firefox Portable. I have never had an issue with it. Also, there is a post somewhere in the forum if it is OK to let Firefox automatically update Firefox Portable. The answer was no, but I am currently running Firefox Portable 2.0.0.12 and it has been automatically updating since Firefox Portable came out.
It does update, but it hijacks a local install if one exists. It redirects all of the registry keys to the portable version instead of to the local install.
