Why no capital letters on Data subfolders?

Is there a reason that every other folder in the paf format is capitalized but the ones under Data (settings, profile) are not? Did a forum search on 'capital' and didn't find anything relevant...

Oh Boy

How I wish I new.

First they weren't capitals, then they were! (I was happy) And now they are no longer capitals again.

I like capitals best. Smile

I agree..

..it just seems silly for them not to be unless there's a reason I'm unaware of. Smile

I agree

They should be capitals.

Lets all use capitals on ours and overrule John. Biggrin Blum

Not that I see..

SumatraPDF & 7-zip both have lowercase in the source... I didn't install the poker game.

Yea

The source still have lowercase, but the 7-Zip and PokerTH directories are caps.

Mine aren't..

Did you reinstall from scratch or update an existing install? If they already exist in caps, windows will not change them even if the installer has lowercase (and vice versa).

Does it really matter?

Windows could care less about capitalization for file names/folders.

And here I thought I was too anal... Biggrin

Technically no..

..aesthetically yes! A well-written, polished application is consistent on things like case. Besides, slipping on little things that don't technically matter leads to slipping on bigger things that DO matter...

Consistency is ... what was

Consistency is ... what is that aphorism? You know, the one from Oscar Wilde? That I dare not speak for fear of offending people? Blum
