Check out Sumatra PDF. The recent 0.8 release adds in many of the features that were most important to users including text search, table of contents, faster rendering, improved printing and more.
Foxit isn't quite portable (it leaves things behind). I offered to create a PortableApps.com Format package of it as part of the upcoming freeware offerings but never heard back from them.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

doesnt work all that well though, leaves stuff behind.

and didn´t find any settings in %appdata%, but yes there are some registry entries.But,except from mui chache (where every portable app shows up)there´s nothing left behind after removing the drive.Only if You set Foxit as default there are "non portable"entries.

Hmm....last time I used it it left something in HKCU/Software/Foxit if i remember correctly, oh well....nevermind my previous post then.

found some key entries now without the ability to access, I agree. But since there´s sumatra as alternative -open, free, without leaving any trace, though horrible yellow display- I won´t hijack this post any further.

Lol yeah, SumatraPDF is free and already portable. You can change the yellow color, but you have to edit the .dat file by hand to do it.

I use Foxit reader on my PDrive without problems...
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
leads to the same launcher ,been using it for a long time.
