Don't know if this has been covered in another post, but I did a search and couldn't find the exact error message I'm getting. When I start up Gaim and a couple of the other portable apps I've downloaded, I'm getting the following error message:
There is no disk in the drive. Please insert a disk into drive \Device\Harddisk3\DR6
I hit continue and the application comes up fine. Is there something I can change in the settings somewhere to eliminate the error message?
Thanks.
It's a well known issue with all GTK+ based apps (Gaim, GIMP, Gnumeric, etc etc). A quick Google search will confirm it.
Reminder for all: It's usually best to Google an issue you encounter before inquiring in a forum for any open source software.
