Please help! After an update of it's virus definitions, AVG flagged my newer updates as trojans. I know these are false positives, they were scanned with Clamwin portable also, (with current updates) at several different intervals and showed up clean. Now that AVG has flagged them, it has locked access to these applications and I cannot update my usb flash. Older versions weren't flagged and are still usable. How do I get AVG to ignore these, so that I can use them? Thanks.
I have this problem as well. I'm getting it with 7-Zip, ClamWin, KeePass, Sumatra, Virtual Magnifying Glass and WinPenguins (the new release).
When ever I try to download the installer again AVG yells at me and shows me the location of a 'Trojan' in the C: drive somewhere and then stops Firefox Portable from downloading the file. I only get this whenever I try to update the apps.
Here's to hoping it gets fixed in the next AVG update.
add to that the 5 posts in the main forums...looks like AVG has some homework to do
