I noticed a lot of arguments over where to host portable programs, so I thought I might make a list:
- MediaFire (Restricted in certain places)
- RapidShare (Slow downloading process)
- Media-Convert (Hosting time limited to 90 days if not registered)
- Box.net (Said to have malicous code)
- FileCrunch (Uploading temporarily disabled)
- Upload Comet (Deletes file after 120 days of no downloads)
- SnapDrive.net (Files expire if not registered)
From WraithDu:
- MiHD.net
- IceFile.in (ridiculously annoying ads)
- Icefile.net (also ridiculously annoying ads)
- Deposit File (limited speed downloading)

Update 3/16/10 guillaume.prevot suggested that I update this post. Seeing that I have a delayed opening from downed wire, I thought why not.
- Filedropper (hosts up to 5GB, but I didn't see the ads until I disabled AdBlock+)
- Dropbox (dead simple, gives you 2GB to host, no ads)
- drop.io (gives you 100MB, no ads, but not really meant for public downloading)
Thanks man, that was nice of you. Nicely organized, too.
I was bored, anyway.

MiHD (max 200MB, no download limits)
IceFile (max 100MB)
IceFile (.net) (also .org, max 50MB)
DepositFiles (max 300MB)
Any caveats ?
Never heard of these. Are they reliable, safe, etc.
