I'm gone all day. I get home right now and the only comment is the one from six seconds ago.

Thanks very much for testing though. Smile

Thanks

I just got an e-mail back from the author, he says it may be to track the version of wxaddon, so I'll just have that key backed up, and when the portable one comes it, we'll delete it and have the original put back.

Portability

I have my XP machine at work automatically register my USB drive as U: - at home it just picks the next letter like F:

I would think that for portability the path should be remembered without the drive letter, so that when it opens up the last task file it will find it regardless of drive letter.

But, I am happy with the program so far. It seems pretty solid, and functional.

It Should

It should replace your previous drive letter (U) with the current (F) so that it still opens your last tasks assuming it's in the same place you saved it.

Is it not opening your tasks?

Update

Development Test 2 has been released for Task Coach 0.68.0.

This release should fix the issue with the registry key being created, and I would really appreciate a few people to double check that for me.

Thanks very much, see the main post for details.

I'm just now seeing this thread...

So dev Test 2 was released yet the download filename wasn't incremented from "1" to "2"? I'm just trying to figure out if I d/l the Dev Test 1 file, I'm actually getting the latest-n-greatest stuff to test (not a slam or me being picky...sometimes I need a scorecard to keep up Smile ).
