Hi
Hi Portable Apsters, we are working on a new range of simple open source portable apps and would like some beta testers. Ideally you should use your portables from both a USB key and your hard drive, but this isn’t essential.
We have released one already and will have 2 more next week.
People who haven’t beta tested before are especially welcome:)
Thanks very much,
Mat Ripley

I'm happy to report bugs in software, but I'd be more keen to test an application I had a use for. Any more info?
Ok for me, I maintain since years a toolbox of portable applications (now around 1000 softwares)... Testing some more won't be a problem.
Keep me inform !
I'm willing, but I'd be a lot more exited if it was something I needed. Like a portable speelchekr...

Hi, I could do some beta tests. Let me know how.
I'm only a known Windows User without knowledge about programming.
Shit happens
I would love to be included in any portable app beta testing going on now and in the future. I'm also skilled in AutoIt and would love to contribute to the community in any way possible.

I can beta test some apps too. umm.. do I need to post some information about me or is it enough
I'm willing to beta test and contribute wherever possible (I use these apps _everyday_). I'm a Mac OS X, Windows and Linux user if matters as well as a IT student and sufficient programmer. Keep up the good work!

i will beta test some apps
Tried out YadaByteDisk on Win98SE.
Encrytion seemed to work OK, but got an error when trying to decrypt yadadiskimage.yda.
The error was "Unable to proceed" YadaDisk has detected both an encrypted disk image and unencrypted files.
The contents of my test folder only contained YadaByteDisk.exe and yadadiskimage.yda.
Hummm.... can you try copying both files to a nmew virgin directory and running again.
Does that work?
Mat
Yes I tried that but still didn't work.
After posting I read the page that said Win9x was unsupported.
Tested on an XP machine and worked as advertised.
I have no experience on really beta testing software... but I like to try new things a lot.... let me have a go please.
Don't want to carry a computer, but I do need the software anytime!!!

If anyone would like to beta test please email notes@yadabyte.com rather than use this forum:)
We are looking forward to your mails:)

I would love to beta test for you, however, I could only test a 1 at a time and it would take awhile do to the all day course I am taking and my internet time. If I could still test with those qualities I would love it. I do believe that I could add very constructive feed back that would help improve the application before it is released.
