Not sure what happened, but starting last night for no apparent reason, I can't get thunderbird to launch firefox anymore when a link is clicked. i've reloaded thunderbird (the version from this site) and it has not helped ... any ideas?
[i do have launchy installed; i just installed thunderbrowser to see if that helped ... it works, but i still can't get a link to open in firefox portable from it ... firefox IS the default browser as far as I'm aware, unless that can be 'overridden' somewhere]
your launchy.xml look like?
I just discovered launchy and love it.

... never had to create a launchy.xml for it to work before ... i just reinstalled firefox to see if that helped and it didn't. unchecking internet explorer in launchy didn't help either ... this is a weird one.
I assumed you were using Firefox Portable and for that you'd have to use a xml file. If you use the installed one you don't need the xml file. You let it search for Apps on start, are you?
Mine acted kinda weird with text files but Firefox always worked.

so do you think the recent update to thunderbird trashed an xml file that I might have had?
shouldnt touch the Data folder so thats highly unlikely as the xml file is in the /Data/profile/chrome folder.

I never knew about Thunderbrowse until now, it will launch FF Portable just fine, did you remember to put in the path of where firefoxportable.exe is? You just have to choose "other" for browser then type it in (if just installed), if already installed, go to "options" (for Thunderbrowse)and fill in the path to the custom browser below like I did here for mine: C:\Portable HD Apps (C)\PortableFirefox 2.0\firefoxportable.exe .
