This has been released:

PeaZip Portable comes to you courtesty of ZGitRDun8705. It's an easy to use archive creator and uncompressor. From the dev test, a few minor changes were made: official splash added and time shortened, unused goto location and label removed.
Download PeaZip Portable 1.11 Pre-Release 1 [3.1MB download / 4MB installed]
This has had some testing so it is hopefully release worthy. Please give it a shot and, barring any issue, it'll be officially released next week.
Awesome.
Edit: Interesting, SourceForge has full page blown ads. Anyone else seen that? At least it doesn't deviate you from the download.
yea their annoying but SourceForge is still the best open source download site
Lead, Follow, or get out of the way.
I saw that too and wandered why they do that to us

A while ago some adds that were supposed to be on the side went over the content in search on sourceforge in IE6. I then posted a message on their bugtracker and it was eventually fixed.
At least these 'adds' don't hinder the usagibily of the site that much.
Great! Thanks John. I know it's my app, but I think it's good to go, everything works fine for me.

I have done some basic testing tonight, and like the development test it seems to work without problem in Vista Ultimate. I'll try and do some more testing in the morning and if I find anything unusual I'll post it
Hi, I'm glad to see interest in creating a PortableApps.com build of PeaZip!
As soon as it becomes official, I'll add a link to this package from PeaZip's website front page.
BTW, I tested pre-release 1 on my reference XP SP2 test machine and all works as expected.

Works fine here, too. I've had no problems and all looks fine and seems to work great. Runs even better then the other Versions of PeazipPortable I've had,...
It's a great and powerful tool - more powerful then 7-zip for itself and it's great that Peazip now becomes an official Portable App.
When a friend of mine saw Peazip the first time he said "It looks like a burning-suite for archives"
This seems ready for release. Your page to edit is up here:
https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/peazip_portable
If you can get me the screenshots (800x600 or less and a 200px wide resize using either the Royale Noir or Zune Windows XP theme) I'll add them in. As soon as the page is up, we can release.
Oh, and if you want a more custom announcement, send it my way. Otherwise it'll just be the intro, features, etc like mine are.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
Should Date Updated: be the date my package was updated, or the date that PeaZip was updated?
And for the Publisher, should I replace your name with mine, or include you, myself and Giorgio Tani?
I don't have either of those themes, i know I need to hack uxtheme.dll to do so, what method would you recommend to do this.

Date is the release date (tomorrow it would seem)
Publisher is the main publisher and PortableApps.com with your name in parenthesis (since you're the developer/maintainer) with your name linked to your profile.
Both Royale Noir and Zune are signed by Microsoft so they can be installed as is with no changes to XP. They're not quite the theme I use for screenshots but they're close enough and easy for all to install.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I've published a screenshot with required characteristics (PNG, using Royale Noir theme), feel free to use them in PeaZip Portable page if you like them:
full resolution 800*600

resized 200*150

If I may suggest a little change in the program's description, I would replace "Archive comparison" (last line in "Features") with "File comparison and checksum / hash (CRC, MD5, SHA...)".
In this way the description would point that the feature is not limited to comparison of archive type files, and exemplify best knwon supported algorithms, like CRCs, MD5 an SHA.
However I'm very glad of inclusion of PeaZip in PortableApps.com utilities and I'll link the product page at my next website update.

Great, thanks for those screen shots Giorgio, I really appreciate it. Lets hope this app gets out the door soon. I'll use your screenshots as I am at work now and can't change my theme here.

The page is nearly complete. The MD5 is still wrong and you will need to set up the links to the images in the same way the other pages are set up. I'd appreciate it if you use Giorgio's screenshots just so we can get this up and running. Thanks for all the effort in getting these user-made apps released.
