At the moment, we only create portable version of open source software at this site. Not only is Windows Live Messenger not open source, it's copyrighted software by one of the largest computer corporations in the world.
So I can safely say you will never see this on this site, however both Pidgin Portable and Miranda Portable can connect to the Live service, I'd suggest Pidgin.
In future, please search as this has been requested a few times, and it makes your answers come quicker, too.
NightFlash, I am sorry to inform you that Windows Live Messenger is not inside our requirements for being portable.
As you can see on your Unofficial PortableApps.com FAQ, section "Can you make [name] portable?", Windows Live Messenger is not in an OpenSource compatible license and is tied to the system. Please try an OpenSource app already portabilized by this site as Pidgin Portable and Miranda IM Portable.
Hope to have helped

EDIT: Oh... Why were you faster than me, Patrick? I had a nice answer with links and all. *Goes crying to a corner of his bedroom*
Blue is everything.
I like yours better. But go cry anyways.
Thanks for being nice. No, I already stopped crying. The neighbor annoyed me because I was making too much noise and that the ceiling on the down floor was getting wet.
Had an idea, how about a template for posting nice answers that say it all, I have given links, you suggested to search, a good combination of ideas could make a short easy to understand answer that explains all.
Blue is everything.
That may lead to too many templates and everything would become almost robotic....we need some sort of disarray here lol...for stuff like an app request or posting a test release, a template is fine, but for anything else, it seems kinda overboard.

How about... how are those things called? A word that is composed by initials of other words... as memory helpers... A memogram? Doesn't mind, I think is that we could build one for helping not to forget everything to use.

EDIT: Ah, got it. Acronym.
Blue is everything.
Really won't work that well, I think.
The other answer that seems to have been neglected is that Pidgin Portable and Miranda Portable will both connect you to the Messenger network (I think).
Edit: oh, I see Patrick did mention them in passing. Sorry.

ehm there is another opensource messenger which is available as portable app,
it's the best alternative for live messenger according to me, I changed a long time ago:
you can download it here:
http://www.amsn-project.net/download.php (as I'm a windows user, I downloaded that version & chose my portable usb drive as install directory, after that I did what's below and it works perfect)
and here you can see how to make it portable (just need to replace 1 line of text in a certain file, VERY EASY)
http://www.amsn-project.net/wiki/Portable_aMSN
and if you want to pimp your amsn:
http://www.amsn-project.net/skins.php
http://www.amsn-project.net/plugins.php
have fun, according to me it should be added to the list of applications
