Getting mail from TB to Thunderbird portable.

I am changing from an old desktop version of Thunderbird to Thunderbird Portable. Can anyone help me by advising how I can 'import' all of my old mail and mail folders from Thunderbird to Thunderbird Portable. Is there an easy way ?. Or any way ?. Right now I have all the mail and folders in a backup folder on an external hard drive (3.9GB) and I simply want to get these into my Thunderbird Portable on my USB flash drive. Any help is appreciated and my direct email is tonyb@sagatrade.co.id or ratna@indo.net.id.
Thanks in advance.

Click on one of your

Click on one of your accounts in TB (above the inbox), click "view settings for this account", click "server settings", the path for the location of your mail is in there at the bottom under "Local Directory. In most cases, just find the "Mail" folder itself and all your accounts are most likely in it and you can just copy and paste that Mail folder to the "profile" folder of your TB portable (a subfolder of "Data") or choose a folder that you will have on the same drive.

yes

copy/replace those data in your Thunderbird Portable/data folder...

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin
