Because I have nothing better to do here at 3 in the morning, I thought I'd go through and find which URL's displayed in the PortableApps.com Splash screens actually didn't exists, here's the applications who need to have aliases added to there actual page.
https://portableapps.com/EraserPortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/eraser_portable
https://portableapps.com/MPlayerPortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/music_video/mplayer_portable
https://portableapps.com/PuTTYPortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/putty_portable
https://portableapps.com/SumatraPDFPortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/office/sumatra_pdf_portable
https://portableapps.com/VirtualDubPortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/music_video/virtualdub_portable
https://portableapps.com/WinMergePortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/winmerge_portable
https://portableapps.com/WinSCPPortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/internet/winscp_portableAlso, there's no harm in adding these for users that assume they exist:
https://portableapps.com/VMGPortable To https://portableapps.com/apps/accessibility/virtual_magnifying_glass_portable
https://portableapps.com/winMd5sum(Portable) To https://portableapps.com/apps/utilities/winmd5sum_portableHave fun. Edit: So apparently I'm spam, John if you see this you can just add these and then delete this.
They are still unfixed and some new ones are here:
PDFTKBuilder, Jooleem, Infrarecorder, Peazip, TaskCoach and the ones I forgot.
"What about Love?" - "Overrated. Biochemically no different than eating large quantities of chocolate." - Al Pacino in The Devils Advocate
I was gonna mention that, thanks.
If this hosted on a Linux box (I assume so) then the "shortnames" that appear in the splash screen could be symlinked to the correct location.
The advantage of the shorter names in the splash is less to type for a new user of PortableApps (if they never find the help.html file that is).

This is hosted on Drupal, a CMS system. And, it has clean urls turned on. As this uses a database and some php, there are no fixed pages that actually exist.
So, there is an admin interface that allows you to choose url aliases, in there it is possible to make all of the stuff that is being requested here.
Blue is everything.
John, it looks like you forgot this. It should only take a couple minutes, and it worth is as I'm sure people are using those URL's. Don't forget the new releases, too.
come on john, we've been waiting, and i use these quite a lot.
But there’s no sense crying over every mistake,
You just keep on trying till you run out of cake.
I've added in all the ones from Patrick's original post as well as the others mentioned in comments. If anyone notices any missing, please let me know.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!
I'll let you know if I see any more. Also, don't forget to add them as pre-releases are going out, or maybe add all the pre-release ones now.
