How come the picture of the portable applications menu on the home screen of this web site has an eject button on it? The menu I have don't have an eject button.

I removed that extra button in less than 5 minutes... just to "see if it could be done"

But I can just tell you, he's not gonna change it. I'd like to see him change it, for sure, but I just don't think he will, personal feeling.
I just never go around to it and it was a heavily optimized image with a cool reflection that I didn't know how to do in Photoshop at the time. Plus, it was originally going to be added back in quickly... it just didn't happen. If you post it, it looks as good as the original and is around 64k, I'll swap it in.
Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

To download, use the link to the right of the image that says "Download Photo" to get the actual photo.
They are the same dimensions, but the gif for the front page came out smaller than 64KB.
Let me know if I need to tweak the resolution.

Those look good in my opinion, except for some significant banding in the grey section on the right of the menu.

That only shows up in the GIF version, probably as the colors get indexed - I had not chosen color dithering. I could re-index with color dithering if John has to stick to the GIF format.
I have PNG versions that are smoother and are about 100KB.
Also notice that it doesn't show up in the smaller JPG.
