Neverball Portable 1.4.0 Dev Test 1

Tilt the floor to roll a ball through an obstacle course before time runs out. Neverball is part puzzle game, part action game, and entirely a test of skill. Also included is Neverputt, a hot-seat multiplayer miniature golf game using the physics and graphics of Neverball.

Neverball Portable 1.4.0 Development Test 1 12.8MB, 29.2MB installed

I had to make the splash screen passive for Neverputt because it caused the game to go to "Paused" when it came up.

Cool

Now stop posting apps. And I believe Marko was doing this if I'm correct, I think he even had a page set up for it (or was that Enigma), I could be wrong however.

No

I disagree. People may forget about something, or get caught behind with other projects. Always ask the developer what there plan is first, it's common courtesy.

...

i agree that i could have emailed him, but this whole thing about "app stealing" is a little ridiculous. if he had done work on it that's one thing, but just saying your going to do something (and 7 months ago!) does not give you exclusive rights to it forever. it's not like he wrote the game. i don't mean to be rude but that's my opinion.

Of Course Not

Like me, I was working on Type Faster Portable for a few months, I had re-written it various times to try to get things working better. Then I mentioned I was going to release it that week, and digitxp for some reason goes ahead and does it himself. It's not worth double the work and the arguments, it's simple to comment or e-mail and just ask what their plan is. If they say oh, I'll release it within a week, give them two or three, if nothing happens, then sure, go ahead.

The page was for enigma ...

but socoban yasc and neverball are done too.
They wasn't published, cause there was on old paf format.

Next week they should be ready too.
But there is no problem to take over neverball Smile if You are willing to do the job with all consequences Wink

Support

Travis, just want to make sure you're going to have time to support all these going forward. Updates to the apps when they update within a working day, updates to all the apps as the PortableApps.com Installer is updated, etc. I'm sure you've already mapped out your time, but just wanted to double check.

Sometimes, the impossible can become possible, if you're awesome!

well, honestly i don't

well, honestly i don't really expect all my apps to make it as official apps or anything. I've just been making a lot because i know they benefit people and i enjoy making them. plus it's not like my apps are as complicated as firefox or anything, a lot of mine don't take much work to do.

I'm sure your apps will

I'm sure your apps will become official, you've picked a lot of really good ones. It would be great if you continued to support them. If you need to pass a few off to another dev, go for it, but continuing to support most of your apps would be great.

hehe

I'm one of those users that takes almost every app you release... I have neverball portable (the french one at framakey) but I like to have everything pafed (even if I don't use PAM) so I'll take it...

I'll take every App that you all release... since I have a new 250Gb Portable HD I download everything with "portable" after or before... Blum

EDIT: It works fine on Vista, I'll test later on XP

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin

Maybe a stupied request but...

I'm not really a fan of the Neverball game but I really like the NeverPutt. I'm sure we'll have people that like one and not the other and people that like both. Maybe it would be better to have the two games in separate launchers. It makes to appearances in the PAM and I noticed they run off of two individual .exe's. What do you think Travis? Nice app by the way. Lots of fun.

?

Both have separated launchers but it's a single game, just like OOo different Apps but that works with the same files...

Oh okay.

Just curious. I thought it might save some space for some people. I still like the app though it was a good choice.
