What about including this into the firefox launcher?
Its a NSIS-Funktion that closes all IE windows.
I'm sure it would be fun. And it would promote the use of Firefox (by closing IE)

Funny, it seems like something google would do as an april fool's joke. Call it "IE TERMINATOR!!" It would kind of be a fuss if someone had something important open in an IE window.
Very useful though, I think I'll get it. I'd love to blast the guts out of IE when I start Fierfox!

If I found app that behaves this way, I would start with deleting it (yes, deleting, running uninstaller could be dangerous). Then I would ask a lawyer if the author is liable for intentional destroying my data. (Which is current IE session).

Visual Studio 2k5 (2k3?) installer. "To finalize installation, I'll restart your computer. 90..89..88..". Fortunately it was long is enough to stop it's threads...
Several months ago there was free StarOffice coming wit GoogleToolbar. It installed several apps even though I unchecked them on the list. And didn't want to remove them. I had to manually delete them. Same with the toolbar itself - it infected my FireFox Portable and I had to manually edit config files to get rid of it.

I don't what these companies are up to. It reminds me of the "Windows Tax" basically every major computer seller(In the US) almost forces you to buy a Windows OS with your computer because they have some deal with Microsoft. As far as I know you have to build the computer to not have to buy Windows. Thats assuming Google did that on purpose.
