I am trying to install Java portablizer. It does not seem to work.
I download the .paf file, install it with the PApps menu, and let it run. Once the process gets to 0 seconds remaining the copy window seems to block, but the install window says that it has finished. There is a new Java Portablizer folder in the PortableApps folder, but no Common Files folder. Any idea where I slipped up?

a few hours ago i made a java portable installation without problems.
first of all, you need a local installation of Java and the java portablizer will the content of the most recent Java installation on your PC to the directory you choose in the installation dialog - default is PortableApps/JavaPoartablizer you then have to copy its content (there should be a lib and a bin directory, some files and a java portable.ini) to the CommonFiles\Java Dir
The JavaPortable.ini in the CommonFiles\Java dir can be overwritten with the one created by the JavaPortablizer.
Edit: a description how to install java portabel can be found here: https://portableapps.com/support/openoffice_portable#java
and as far as i know you can install Java with the JavaPortablizer directly into the x:\PortableApps\CommonFiles\Java\ Directory...
