graphviz is one great app that just cries for "portabalizing".
Graph visualization is a way of representing structural information as diagrams of abstract graphs and networks. Automatic graph drawing has many important applications in software engineering, database and web design, networking, and in visual interfaces for many other domains.
Graphviz is open source graph visualization software. It has several main graph layout programs. See the gallery for some sample layouts. It also has web and interactive graphical interfaces, and auxiliary tools, libraries, and language bindings.
can be used to create family trees with 300 elements?
If the answer is yes... Please, can somebody work on it?
I don't know anything about portabilizing...
If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report
just type 'freemind portable' in the searchbox at the top of the site, it'll give you a beta.

Freemind requires java right? Then it's not really portable.
Graphviz uses this "Common Public License Version 1.0" which I'm not sure if it's GPL-compatible or not
Read license: http://www.graphviz.org/Download.php

i'd want to portablize it but i installed it and don't know what to do with it. There's a few applications and I haven't figured out what I'd do with them.

I made a portable version at:

Dear mfidler,
Thanks for your portable version graphviz. It works.
But why delete the content of designation folder for the portable app.
Dose it necessary?
Unfortunately, I lost all my stuff in that folder.
I think there should be a warning or something like that.
