The base app seems buggy. It crashed when I tried to open a txt file, and the GUI doesn't redraw properly, there was a gap between the menu bar and the panel that remained transparent, it was about the same height as the menu bar.
XP Home edition, all updates.

Patrick reported some issues as well, via IRC last night.
His displayed an error message that said something similar to "the program crashed. please send a report of information with X. how? it's easy, send the report to xxx@yyy.com"
His also painted part of Windows Explorer onto the UniView window, in the same area that I had transparency.
