jZip Portable would be really helpful as none of the current file compression softwares available offer RAR compression, just only unpacking.

I could be reading wrong, but accoring to the jZip site, and several online reviews of the application, jZip does NOT support the creation of RAR archives, and can only extract them, just like the PeaZip and 7-Zip that already have portable versions here.

Well I am working with the jZip team on a wrapper and eventually it will be an official release on jZips site. But if I were you Id use 7zip Portable or Peazip Portable as these are supported here and Open-source

This may not be perfecly legal, so correct me if im wrong, but I just went into my application data folder and copy pasted the jzip files to my usb drive. It works fine.
