Auslogics BoostSpeed 4

Alright, I was bored today so I decided to work on a Auslogics BoostSpeed 4 launcher, because it would be a really useful tool to bring with me to use on other computers to clean them up, instead of carrying 5 other apps. Now There are only 4 registry keys made, 2 for the Start menu and 2 for the Current User and User Sections. Since the 2 start menu ones don't matter, its really just 2. I'm going to use Portable App Creator because it has a nice collection of apps that can be used to make it. Plus I'm still working on learning to write in other ways. This is a launcher, and this program is Shareware, so you need to buy it to use it. I'm really pumped, so I might decide to keep making more apps. So within a day or two I should have a working launcher. Then I'll post it in Beta so people can get it. And any help at all would be great. Or a quick lesson in NSIS would help too :).

(Oh, and if people got any good ideas for other apps, I'm all ears, and will try to see if my pitiful, in comparison to people on this site, scripting and computer smarts are up to the challenge.)

Request Apps?

You're not requesting an app, so if anything, this should go in Portable App Development.

It is

payware, closed source... I don't think it can be done... well, probably just a launcher for it...

If a packet hits a pocket on a socket on a port,
and the bus is interrupted as a very last resort,
and the address of the memory makes your floppy disk abort,
then the socket packet pocket has an error to report Biggrin

OK, hit a snag...

The launcher works fine and all, and adds the registry items, but it doesn't recognize the fact its registered to the computer. All it does is show that it has 15 days left for trial. It never changes, so maybe thats a plus for people that don't want to pay? I don't know. Maybe I screwed up checking the Regshot deal by forgetting to register the program before taking the second shot. Ill try Regmon and Filemon and hopefully find some answers. If anybody else want to mull this over, these are the Keys and files added:

Added Keys:

C:\WINDOWS\system32\wbem\Repository\FS\MAPPING2.MAP

Yeah, still working at it, and sorry for the delay. The only secure computer to use this on is the computers at school, since they have deepfreeze that freezes the computer, thus nullifying the effects of the testing.
So if anybody has got a good thought about this, please help me. I'm such a noob at this.
