Is There A Way To Get MPlayer to Play a File From The Autorun.inf? (So that when you plug in the flash drive it starts MPlayer and starts Playing the video)

hmmm have you tried specifing the file along side mplayer? (just a wild guess here
like
\dir\blah\mplayer.exe -zoom ..\..\dir\vids\test.mkv (mkv is a video container
)

aim is "nycjv321" (minus quotes)
but i fail to see the point, cuz after a while, seeing that vid will get annoying and it will be even more annoying when every time you plug in, mplayer starts playing that video and you have to stop it every time because you were to lazy to take that vid out of the autorun file and in the end you will probably just give up anyway which brings me back to my original point of WHY?!?

I make videos for school projects and I thought it would be easier for the teacher if it just started to automatically play without having to click on anything. It is not hard to change the autorun file back to the PortableApps Menu.
But you'd still have to click on something, as Windows doesn't support true autorun on removable drives (and not at all in Vista, Vista's autoplay always prompts first, even on discs)
Well okay, but all you have to do is click on the Ok button rather than finding the program that will properly play the video. Because I have known Windows Media Player to not always have the correct video codecs. But older versions of Windows (such as Windows ME) have true autorun.
...yes, but not from a USB drive--only from CDs.
