Application: T^3
Category: Games
Description: T^3 is an amazing 3D tetris game. If you remember the basic tetris game then you can play this game. Although it is in 3D it is fairly light on the system so it is easy to run off of a flash drive.

One why would I get rid of the src folder? Two the Data folder is empty besides the Settings folder inside of it (which is empty as well.). Are you talking about the one in the app folder? I can't do much about that. I move that into the data folder so it's Data\data. I know it's weird but that's just how it reads it's settings. When I run the installer I only get 1 icon in the appinfo folder. I don't think there is more than one icon in the installer. And the *.* moves everything within the folder rather than the folder.

get rid of the src folder because it's unnecessary to include the source, 'cuz then you could just make an appsource.txt under /source. The installer is supposed to only create the Data dir, not add it to the install. The one under app is perfectly fine. In the appicon.ico, there are only 2 icons. You ever hear of a multiple icon?
Oh, I didn't know about that *.*, good to know :).

Digit, as Patrick asked earlier, you need to think about the wording of your replies. I'm assuming that you are just joking around, but comments like your opening statement in this reply could be taken as being in the "duh, are you stupid" tone of speaking, and the "You ever hear of a multiple icon?" could be considered rude as well.
Try something along the lines of:
"The src folder is not needed because the AppSource.txt file that should be added in /Other/Source will provide a link to where the base application's source is available"
"The appicon.ico only contains 2 icons, please keep in mind the requirements for that .ico file. Use @IconSushi or IcoFX to create the multi-icon with the proper icons"

Why would I have 2 icons? The application only uses one icon. The app's icon changes depending on your view. Do you want me to split them?

a multi-icon is a single .ico file that contains multiple icons.
Digitxp was saying that your appinfo.ico only contains 2 of the icon sizes that the PAF format requires.
the required sizes/formats are
48x - XP true color
32x - XP true color
16x - XP true color
48x - 256 color
32x - 256 color
16x - 256 color
I'd recommend using IcoFX to create a multi-icon that contains all these formats

One thing you could try is opening an appicon.ico from another appPortable with IcoFX; you'll see the three icons in the one .ICO file. It doesn't make a lot of sense until you see that an .ICO file can contain multiple images.
MC
I that they could contain more than one icon but I was confused as to what he was asking. He told me there were only 2 icons in the appinfo folder saying there should be more when I only had one icon.

now it is looking for libtiff3.dll
The problem was the the .dll's were in system32 so I didn't find them. Apparently uninstalling T^3 doesn't removed the .dll's so I didn't find them when I ran my portable version. But I got all three .dll's taken care of and ran the new portable on two computers that have never touched T^3 before so it should be ready to go.

Jacob: Read this wiki entry for info on why you need 6 icons total and it points to a program to help in that endeavor.

Dev Test 3 now works for me. the only problem now is that the game is insanely hard!
Well I'm glad. It's kind of addicting though isn't it?

The game works fine for me, but I have a problem with the keyboard settings for the controls. I'm not using a US keyboard, so the controls end up being very confusing. A possibility to set your own control keys would greatly enhance the game. (Maybe it's there somwhere, but I couldn't find it.)
Great game, but *very* hard to play well...

I can't change it. All the keys are described in the readme but it doesn't say anything about changing them. Remember that theses launchers do not modify the origional apps. We just create an environment for them to run portable. Glad to hear you like the game though!

I'm confused. You updated the topic to read Dev Test 4, the href value of the link points to a Test 4, but the link still reads Test 3, and the latest changelog reads Test 2. So what Test version are we on? Please update ALL of the topic, and add a message to this thread, and the Development Test page when you make an update, so we all know if something really changed or not.
Also, please keep with the file naming convention used by ALL of the other Dev Test apps here. Your filename should be
[AppName]_Portable_[App Version]_Development_Test_[Test Version]_en-us.paf.exe

I feel stupid I didn't even think about anything but the link and the name.
