PAF template

I was bored, so I made a PAF template.
All you have to do is follow the readmes.
Download
The PAF template is basically a template to make a Portable App. It's designed (Not really) for a beginner, except for the part about the NSIS launchers. A lot of people need something like this :).

nice

so far you need 2 things, in the App\DefaultData you need a "settings" folder, and in the other\source add a "GetParameters.nsh" That it doing that should make things little faster for people using this. Good Job on this.

One sec.

Elaborate on it a bit more. Do you just run it? Does it compress files? Do you have a screenshot? Do files get temporarally stored on the PC?

I think its just a blank

I think its just a blank layout of the folders, etc. for making something PAF compliant.

after that....

once you put the app parts in these folders and change the names in the ini's and Nsi's to the correct app name what is the next step?

how do you take that folder and turn it into a .paf.exe with working scripts and all?

i would guess at some point you have to zip it but i have no idea where and i haven't found anything yet while reading the forums on how to do this

I'm new at programing and trying to learn Nsis by testing evernote (yes i know it's illegal to post but it's already portable as is so I'm just using it as a lab rat)

also how do you get an icon in the .paf installer? Xn resource editor?

thanks in advance
