I assume you mean "portable"
as well as rip images (not audio tracks)
there is cdrtfe and imgburn as well as infrarecorder all can rip images.
Just check imgburn's forums on guides how to create images if its to confusing...
so... Next Time Search

ImgBurn is portable in the sense that you can install it directly to a portable device and it will run fine. InfraRecorder can be found here on this website, as it is already compiled into a Portable Installer
Failure is not an option. It comes bundled with Windows.
lol so pam apps are truly portable? whats the difference? other then a launcher that exports/imports settings and an app that is already portable

1. Everything is compressed
2. Settings are changed to make it more "flashdrive" friendly. EX: Firefox doesn't ask if it's the main browser on start up
3. The app can be moved around without messing up the program
4. Everything is in the organized PAF format
5. A new startup screen is added

well compressed apps require more ram, imgburn is already compressed imgburn is already flash drive friendly just dont ask to open certain stuff. it doesn't get messed up when moved and the default imgburn startup screen should be sufficient... not saying some apps shouldn't be modified only saying imgburn is perfectly portable on its own

FF does ask to be the default browser if the user has updated the program, so strictly the above isn't true, however unfortunately after all this time one still must export their bookmarks to a file or go through some convoluted method of reclaiming them.
Seems a bad joke to me that does.
A clean install of Firefox Portable is set to not ask the user to make it default.
If I use the built-in updater which I'm not supposed to do things get messy and everybody should know that cause its written on the Support page and in the Forum. And as the problem with the updater is something we haven't caused (its Mozillas mistake), I think its not fair to make us responsible.

Isn't the issue really with bookmarks and the archiving of internal profiles?

AFAIK, the bookmarks stay where they are and thats it.

They have some nice software. They don't portablize anything, just check if it is portable.
If you can'y find something here, you may want to swing by that site and check. I do every so often to see if they've found something good.
