For a day now my USB stick does not want to work with any computer after plugging in.
What happens is that the stick is being seen by the computer but it takes several goes until it sees the portable apps symbol and I can access my apps or any other files on the stick. I have run clam win for any viruses now I have formatted the USB stick yet it still has difficulties connected to the computer and I had this with another computer as well so IMHO it's not the host computer.
I use Win XP SP2 on both computers.
Anyone experienced this problem before?
USB Stick is a Super Talent 4GB only 3 months old.
Kind regards DF
When it happened to be it was because the connector was lose on the inside of the drive. I contacted the company and in a week I convinced them that I wasen't lying and got a send to address to ship my broken drive to, they even offered data recovery (i didn't need it because i had backup my drive a few days ago). Try looking for customer support on their site and send in a request if the connector on your drive is lose.

that is the risk when you buy generic like super talent. althogh super talent has an impecable history, they tend to knock off everything. just the other day i was looking at my febuary issue of pc magazene and saw in the back what looked to be no doubt, an iPod touch, but nope, i looked again and saw under it "Super Talent 4 Gb mp3" so...
anyway the whole customer support thing should do ya good.
