Can`t install portable apps suite, .EXE file not supported?

Can`t install portable apps suite, .EXE file not supported?

So i downloaded the suite but i can`t install because i get a message that the .exe file is not supported, i dunno what`s wrong help please!. I have submited a screenshot of the message i get:

Corrupt download

You got a bad download. It happens sometimes. Redownload (clear your cache first to make sure you don't get the already-corrupted file) and try again.

Why was the exe opened in

Why was the exe opened in 7zip? The exe is not a self extracting archive but is an intaller.

I dunno why LOGAN-Portable,

I dunno why LOGAN-Portable, anyway i downloaded the file again but it was corrupt because it sent an error in the middle of installation. I am gonna use IE now.

7-zip self-extractor

.paf.exe's used to be just 7-Zip self-extractors, not the NSIS installers they are now. Maybe the suite still is... if so, that would explain why the error mentions 7-Zip.

The original suite was created before the new format.

So i ended up installing the

So i ended up installing the basic suite of PA, you know the one that has only the menu and stuff?. I had to do it because everything else gave me problems and even managed to erased the entire data on my pendrive, i hope it doesn`t happen again.

Btw i have a NEW kingston 1Gb pendrive data traveler, i dunno think it was the pendrive`s fault because is brand new...anyway i hope everything goes smoothly now since i really like the concept of portable apps.
