I found this on Sourceforge.net and it had a .paf before the .exe and I was curious as to why its not listed on this site? All the stuff here has .paf to be compatabile with the launcher that can be found here.

I am the author of that program. PortableApps.com has not opened the site to "outside developers" yet so I cannot add it.

I didn't know you were interested. Or perhaps I forgot... I've been swamped lately. And I'd thought Ryan was hosting that for you and would have mentioned it to you.
Anyway, sorry for not contacting you directly. The site is open to outside developers now once they've gotten their feet wet. Both Ryan and Steve are moving their apps in (yes, guys, I'm sending you the URLs for you to edit tomorrow ) as are a couple of other folks. Ping me at the contact address for details.

I'm not hosting him.
I'm sending an email out to all the people I am hosting to see if they are interested. I'll email you on that topic if they reply.
Yay! I can't wait!

I am still around, just a little inactive at the moment. Do I still get a place? or do I keep the reg rapper page at least??
Just wondering.

by email. I'm still working on posting my generic launcher. Perhaps reg wrapper could be rolled into it.

Hey... thanks for that part. so late my message... i've been trying to make it portable 'cause i need to bring it to everysites.
about the size of it most people these days have 1-2 gig flash drives so it should fit with the packages
it is a great site
Dev-C++ is the best free-ware C++ compiler ever.
It would be nice if it was portable.
(Dev-C++ is an open source application.)
Dev-C++ actually isn't a compiler, it is a development environment, and can be configured to work with several different C compilers, such as Microsoft Visual C, or MingW.
May I recommend Code::Blocks as an alternative? Code::Blocks just received a major update, and is in continued development. The DevC++ project appears to be dead. Also, I'm working on a portable version of Code::Blocks that should be released by this weekend.
The developer formerly known as ZGitRDun8705
The problem with DevC++ is that the project has been abandoned. Now theres a xwDevC++ around and I also found http://www.lazarus.freepascal.org/
Problem is that most C++ and C projects use the massive Microsoft developement studios
Dev-C++ is indeed abandoned, but it's still a damn nice IDE (I prefer it over Code::Blocks). And devpaks are still being made for it, which is saying something. I have no objection to using it for my own projects.
I'd use wxDev-C++, but I've read it won't work with the existing Dev-C++ Portable launcher...
hkBattousai,
You might be happy to know there's an AutoIt launcher developed by someone that does do this. Of course that means it's not in the official portable apps format, so YMMV. Also, I didn't write it, so although I use it, I can't vouch for it.
Find it at: http://www.mi3soft.info/?page=portable.devcpp
