I just found some portableapps not on portableapps on sourceforge that are in PAF format!
http://sourceforge.net/project/platformdownload.php?group_id=184786
It's listed under Portable App World. It has 7 PAF apps, and one zip folder on the green button. The apps are,
-VisualBoyAdvancePortable.zip
-MediaPlayerClassicPortable.paf.exe
-PeazipPortable.paf.exe
-1964Portable.paf.exe
-NSISPortable.paf.exe
-Notepad2Portable_1.0.0.2.paf.exe
-SciTEPortable.paf.exe
-VirtualDub_Portable.exe
I noticed we actually have some of these apps oficial, some in beta testing, and some we don't have, but this is something worth checking out.
some people host their dev tests on SF.net.

these apps can NOT be found on portableapps, even though they are in PAF format.

the reason that is is because most of those are test versions of apps that were never released, and are really old versions.
SciTE and Notepad2 for instance, were 2 apps that john was testing. he was trying to decide whether to use SciTE, Notepad2, or Notepad++ as the text editor for the suite. He created test versions of each over a year ago, and ended up settling with Notepad++. Media Player classic was another test, but is not used.
Then they should be under "Outdated Beta Tests" in Development.

Not all of those were actually made by PortableApps.com.....some people made thier own apps using ours as a template. We only handle the stuff that goes on within our site. If you want them all added to the Outdated table, create the html code for me, using the template posted there, and I'll add them.

some developers of freeware already made PAF versions, but they aren't with the installer (licenseing issues).
By some developers I mean the developers of q10.
