Mozilla Firefox, Portable Edition 2.0.0.14 Japanese Test

I've posted a test release of Firefox Portable in Japanese for testers. Please ensure that it's working correctly. Both the installer and launcher are in Japanese using ShiftJS encoding so it will show up as Japanese on Japanese language machines.

Uhhh.

If it's only a language change, why would it need to be tested?

Language + Encoding

It uses ShiftJS encoding which we haven't released an app with yet. And I'd like to ensure the translations are good... on that note, the actual localization files are in Other\Source if any Japanese speakers would like to verify them.

Because John it good at what he does Wink
Any change can be problematic, it is always good to test throughly.

Keep up the good work John,

ShiftJS

Unless Japanese is set as your default Windows codepage, you'll see seemingly random characters. Try the Mozilla Firefox non-portable installer for Japanese and you'll see the same.

Let Him Get to It

Lightscreen is great, it's an awesome find, and you're doing very well on it. But first give him some time to work on getting out the apps of developers that have had their's sitting here for a few months plus first.

Read more carefully

The translations are for John's launchers and installers! There is a native Firefox Japanese version which of course I imagine is bundled.

Signature automatically removed for being too awesome.
