Email notification in user account doesn't work

Hello,

I'm not sure if the email notification works for my user account?
Although I've activated the check box, I don't get any notification from your server to a user's statement.
Just checked the address (removed by moderator jth - posting email addresses in the clear is VERY bad form) in my white list at my mail account. Any help?

Greetings,
VANC56

Dear jth,
Please forgive me for having posted the email address in the clear. I didn't know it, thanks for your help!
Greetings,

It's been over a year since this thread was started. I'd like to re-up the request to have email notifications available for changes in threads that I'm subscribed to and to be automatically subscribed to my own threads or threads I have commented on. Most forums have this feature, not sure why PortableApps.com should be any different.
