Port Firefox on University Computers

I have tried running Port. Firefox of both my Server Memory and from my USB Drive, and for some reason on the University Network my extensions are not thier, while if I use the Port. Firefox from the USB drive on anouther compter (Before and after) they are thier and work fine.
What can I do to avoid this, esp. since 90% of my computer time is on these computers?
Thank You
A

Blocking something?

Could they be blocking some access? Portable FF works when you move to any directory structure except one containing non-ASCII characters.

nope

Although there are in the computer directories containing non-ASCII there is no reason for the firefox to acess these folders. Also The Firefox works fine, its they extensions that dissapear.
Thanks

What about the path

Does the *full* path to Portable Firefox or ANY of its folders contain non-ASCII characters? If it's on your Desktop... most likely it does. If the path contains anything non-ASCII, PFF won't work right at the moment.

No non-Ascii

The operating system on the computer (windows xp) is setup and does use non-ascii. But the PFF is set up on my portable drive and non of its path includes non-ascii. The PFF does work, just the extensions disapear when used on the university computers.

All

I have tried sepreatly and together:
CustomizeGoogle,Tabbrowser Preferences,PDF Download,IE View,FasterFox,Gmail Notifier,WebmailCompose,Single Window,Unread Tabs,Disable Targets for Downloads. Along with others.
All of them disapear on the university-server computers (which run windows xp, with non ASCII, and which has firefox on it, on which extensions work {although because of the system-server set up, the extensions are erased evrey time i log off})
Hope this helps,
A

It's something

specific to the university computers and we won't be able to help you with it further. There's no way any of us could remotely diagnose or reproduce the problem.
