had to reload portable apps and trying to download open office and fire fox and when it downloads it is very quick and has 0 bytes to it

It happened to me too, but usually I can fix it with ease. Are you on a public PC? Does this happen with other downlaoads? Did you try reseting your PC?

just tried to do open office,fire fox and other downloads on 3 computers and still the same thing
sounds like you are right-clicking on the Download button for the apps. This won't work because the links are not direct links to the file, but rather link to the sourceforge mirroring system. Right clicking and choosing Save As will either give you an empty file or some useless HTML.

no i go to the link on the main page and left click and then click on the red download link then it ask where i won't to put it then it starts and gives me no icon with o bytes this started last night on two different computers this all started when i had to reload everything from the site
and the sourceforge website is not loading for me either
